1987. Camilla is the 13 year-old daughter of a wealthy family that spends their summers on the Tuscan coast. She decides that this will be the summer of her first kiss, at any cost. And destiny sends a gorgeous prey: Adelmo, a 17 year-old local boy who is hired to clean their pool. Amid anonymous phone calls and lies, Camilla will do her best to manipulate sweet Adelmo, trying to create the perfect conditions for this kiss which she so desires but never seems to come. At the same time the adults in Camilla’s house are going through a delicate moment: her mother is writing an autobiography, while her father is dealing with a young lover. In the summer of her first real, great love, nobody seems to notice Camilla’s clumsy but tender steps towards her own adulthood.
