Two years after the events of Three Steps Over Heaven, Step returns from New York to Rome only to face anew everything that he had tried to put behind him: the sorrow for a dead friend, his difficult relationship with his mother, the uncomfortable label of being a “legend” among his peers, his memories of Babi and, in general, his future as a “grown up”. But his friends and family have also changed over these years, and the encounter with the irresistible, beautiful Gin will catapult Step towards emotions and sensations that he thought he could enjoy only with Babi… Step needs to see Babi one last time in order to accept that his past is behind him and cannot return. Life goes on, and Gin is his present. After confronting his conflicting feelings and several ghosts – in the flesh – Step is ready to face the future. He turns to Gin to begin a new and adult love story.
